The Tourist Office organises a programme of guided tourist visits so that visitors can get up close to the heritage, culture and history of Caldes de Malavella. This regular guided tours are lead mainly in catalan or Spanish. If you want to be guided in other languages, please ask to the Tourist Office.

Very interesting activity that includes explanations on Caldes water (origin, properties, temeprature,…) the different upwelling points of the three caldes hills, the beginnigns of bottling and the phenomenon of balneotherapy .
Includes the Roman Thermal Baths monument, the thermal sources and historical heritage.

Caldes de Malavella stands out for having a very careful architecture and conserving modernist buildings from the s. XIX. The modernist and noucentism architecture and the eclecticism that we can still observe today is the testimony of splendor times and development of the town, in which the bourgeoisie, a new wealthy Barcelona’s class emphasized the healing properties of the thermal waters and gave a new value to rural society.
