11th – 17th centuries. 11th century church dedicated to St. Stephen. Of its origins, only the large Lombard style Romanesque apses and the basilica plan are preserved. It has been renovated on several occasions and everything we see of it today is 17th century. The facade is Renaissance in style and on both sides of the door, in the lower part, we can see some large basins, one of the symbols of Caldes. The church is right in the middle of the square of the same name and is surrounded by Modernist, Neoclassical and eclectic buildings; the most outstanding one is Casa Quintana. Along the surrounding streets, we can find more emblematic buildings such as the Municipal Theatre Casino.
